Alli Gamlen is an award-winning performer, director, and arts educator. A Bay Area native, she has performed in theatres throughout the West Coast and trained in acting, directing, and dance at American Conservatory Theater, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, South Coast Repertory, and San Francisco State University.
Favorite roles include Annette in God of Carnage (Masquers Playhouse), Pattie in Kimberly Akimbo (Altarena Playhouse), and Bev/Kathy in Clybourne Park (Masquers Playhouse), the latter earning her the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award for Principal Performer in a Drama. Favorite directing credits include The Addams Family, In the Heights, Little Shop of Horrors, The Laramie Project, The Princess Bride, and Chicago. She is also the Narrator of The PayLess Murders Podcast. Alli is a faculty member with American Conservatory Theater’s Studio A.C.T. and serves as the Visual and Performing Arts Coordinator for the San Mateo County Office of Education. When she’s not onstage, she can be found in a dance class or out exploring the East Bay. |
